Actually, it was produced by me, MagerValp. Big Floppy People 2007 was the party where it was released
I have a website with a little more information about what’s improved here: http://www.paradroid.net/u3/
There’s also Ultima 4 Gold in the same site http://www.paradroid.net/u4/
From readme within the zip file (the site it self offers no real info) :
Features
——–
* IFFL fastloader – the game can be file copied
* No disk swapping when playing (but 1541 users have to flip once
after the title screen)
* Saving in dungeons (when in 3D view)
* If you move outside the border of a towne, castle, or keep, the game
asks if you want to exit to Britannia.
* Music is not interrupted when walking around in Britannia
* Support for most IEC drives
* SuperCPU fixed
* Joystick control
* Extensive trainer, including unlimited magic, food, torches, and
keys, avoiding combat, and teleportation
* …I’ve probably forgotten something
Oh btw, there’s a slight mistake in U4:VoH entry (http://aiera.timeimmortal.net/ultima4/ultima-4-virtue-of-humility/). The file provided is version 7.0401 (according to readme in the zip) and not 7.0317 as stated. Also the separate readme is out of date as its from version 4.0430.
Not much I can do about the ReadMe — that’s the latest “standalone” version off of the VoH site. I might rip the new one out of the ZIP at some point soon, though (but obviously, wedding plans come first). Thanks for pointing out that I hadn’t incremented the version number.
As for the U4 remake, thanks for the tip. It’ll go onto the site with the next update!
