My apologies for the title; the pun was irresistible.

Anyhow, it looks like former developer ‘s upcoming game for the , ‘s , is getting the ol’ Collector’s Edition treatment.

Actually, this does look pretty cool.

The $69.99 bundle includes everything seen in the image above: A copy of the game, a pair of skins for the Wii, a faceplate for your , a containing behind-the-scenes videos and other marketing materials, some special packaging and a five-inch vinyl figurine modeled after the game’s falsetto protagonist.

I bought my wife a Wii for last year, and I honestly keep forgetting we have the darn thing (she’s the console gamer, not me). Still, I might just have to check this game out…and I have to admit that I am just a little bit tempted by this package. The Wii is aesthetically pleasant in its design, but its white shell is rather plainspoken, whereas this skin for it has all the right kinds of randomness and contrast.

To anyone reading this site who might be working — or who has, in the past, worked — on Pentagram, the environment — I have a question on behalf of a reader.

Do you think it will be possible to port to the ? There is a 4Mb ram limit. It would be nice to use this engine with the touch screen of the DS.

There is a library for DS programming call heres a link…http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libnds

Theres another one which uses libnds called it makes somethings easier. We would need to scale or crop the resolution down to 256 x 192 if we are using just one screen. Theres a top and bottom one but I think it would be cool to use the bottom screen since thats the touchpad.

Libnds comes with DevKitPro which includes an assembler and a /C++ compiler basically everything you need to program for the NDS.

So…can anyone on the Pentagram team throw an answer my way? Would it be possible to port Pentagram to the Nintendo DS?
