Not that there was much for me to do in those sections, apart from a few formatting changes and a couple of image swaps. Be that as it may: all downloads for both Martian Dreams and Savage Empire work again.
Check thou them out, good reader!

Does anyone happen to have a copy of the Martian Dreams hint book? I would really
like to get a copy in PDF. I used to have the actual book, but loaned it out
and never got it back. I would love to read it again.
Anyone able to help this fine gentleman?

This is actually a comprehensive collection of utilities and in-progress remakes of Ultima titles, all done in the Neverwinter Nights engine. The list of utilities is pretty comprehensive, including functional moongates (with Orb of the Moons!), NPC scheduling, animated potions, a conversation system to replace the default NWN system, and a very good reproduction of the venomous dagger of Ultima 7 fame.
But even more promising is the list of remakes that are being put together by this team and others. Currently in progress are remakes of Ultima 1, Ultima 7 (which provides the screenshot here), Ultima 8, Savage Empire, and Martian Dreams. Most of these seem still to be in the early stages of development, but the Ultima 7 remake — which deals, it seems, only with the events of The Black Gate at present — looks to have progressed somewhat further.
Here is hoping, then, that this collective set of efforts bears much fruit in the future! As the projects progress, I’ll probably break off each remake into its own standalone entry. For now, this one omnibus entry will suffice.
Eric Fry’s novel remake of the Ultima 6 engine is also going to be compatible with Savage Empire and Martian Dreams. Though currently being developed under Mac OS X, there are downloadable binaries for both Windows and OS X 10.3+ (the developer feels these snapshots might also work under earlier versions of OS X, however this is untested. It is the opinion of Aiera that they will not, simply because of some key API changes that exist between OS X 10.2 and 10.3).
The program source code is also available. Linux users will have to compile Nuvie from source.
I was going through the Ultima FTP Archive and noticed that there were a few things there which had not been added to Aiera, but which probably should have been added a goodly while ago. They’re mostly minor utilities, some over a decade old, but for posterity’s sake they have been included on the site here.
Just a minor update, especially coming on the heels of some fairly major ones (below). But hey — I aim to please!
Also, a frothy mug of ale to Ole Petter Ingebrigsen for bringing it to my attention that the ZIP-archive download for the Ultima 4 character editor (a different one, not the one mentioned above) was apparently corrupted. This error has been corrected.
* this also works, apparently, for Savage Empire (thanks Paulon)
This little utility enables the player to activate the cheat utility in Martian Dreams. It can also remove the copy protection from the game, and initially I was hesitant to post a copy to Aiera on that basis…until I realized that uo.com had a downloadable copy as well.
Paulon Dragon informs us that this hack will also work with Savage Empire, and he provides details on how to do this on his website, The Other Codex.
This powerful editing suite for Ultima 6 allows for the modification of the original game’s maps and graphics, and also includes a complete editing suite for conversations, with opcode highlighting. Currently, the program seems to support both Ultima 6 and Martian Dreams (but not, apparently, Savage Empire).

* Ultimatrix GUI (57.6 KiB, 89 hits)
Ultimatrix is a unique utility that allows you to create maps of the worlds of Ultimas 1 to 6, as well as Savage Empire and Martian Dreams. Initially, the program begins in the overworlds of each game, but it is possible to wander into the dungeons and view the maps of those as well.
It is recommended that you also download the GUI for the program.
