* [drain file 35 url Client 0.2.3] ([drain file 35 size])

While development on this project appears to have halted, it is a project so all the code should still be online. What was supposed to be, and may one day be, was an online client for , much as Galleon Dragon has created for .

Currently, Razimus is trying to assemble a team with which to resurrect this project.

I’ve always wanted this project to happen, it’s been gone for a while but it’s my attempt to bring it back. I’m calling it “Blackrock Undead” a continuation of the Blackrock Engine.

UO never resembled U7 to me except superficially, and Galleon Dragon’s U6-Online is great if you like U6, personally the only Ultima to ever be known as the best is Ultima VII, those that disagree probably never played it from beginning to end without cheats.

I have to admit that Ultima 6 was always my favourite, with Ultima 7 coming in second. Serpent Isle was a close third. I still play Ultima 6 about once a year, and usually attempt to pass the game in the least-correct order it strikes me is possible, since it’s open-ended enough for that (except for the sacred quest that ends it all, but I imagine that one day I’ll find a way to mess that up as well).

But I digress…

I’ll take a look at the project. I’ve been meaning to do an update to Aiera since I got back from England, but as yet I’ve not found the time between last-minute wedding details and editing 1700+ photos from the Jamboree. And work, of course. And those illustrations I was hired to do for a book by a former professor of mine.

But soon!
