Courtesy of the Goldenflame Dragon of tumbloian.org, Ultima Aiera is pleased to present the soundtrack of Ultima 4 as it sounds on a Commodore 128. Goldenflame plugged his C128′s sound output into his PC’s sound card and recorded the music in WAV format, then converted it to MP3.
Have a listen, Dragons and Dragonettes! And then, download the tracks directly from Goldenflame’s repository. (Sadly, the portion of his Ultima 4 disk that contained the track that plays when Hawkwind is speaking was corrupt, so that piece is missing from this list. If anyone else has it and would be willing to provide it, I’m sure we’d all be very grateful.)

Download the tracks:
* MP3 format (5.3 MiB, hosted externally)
* WAV format (1.7 MiB, hosted externally)
Now, a few disclaimers.
These MP3 files are stored locally for playback, but can be downloaded as a single ZIP archive above. WAV format files, also contained in a single ZIP archive, are also available.
Also, the files range in size, though most are less than 1 MB. As such, they may take a while to load when you attempt to play them. Then again, they might load quite quickly.
Finally, enjoy. Have a listen. Have another. These tracks are a fine example of both Ultima and general computing history.
