This remake was the only Ultima remake that was being made with the Oblivion engine. Unlike Redemption, Infinity Eternal was being made to be more faithful to the plot of the original Ultima 9 while adjusting those things which irritated many Ultima fans. The most interesting thing about this remake was that it was supposed to feature travel to other worlds, including the Serpent Isle.
The above demo is from the days when the project was being built with the Morrowind engine, and so would not have been reflective of the final product. However, since the project has since been canceled and replaced with a remake of Serpent Isle, it is being kept online as the last extant remains of the project.
Note: the demo requires both Morrowind expansions, Bloodmoon and Tribunal.
