There have been a few updates in the community in the last week or so, including a couple I missed when I was doing my first look-through of Ultima links after I got back from .

Ultima 5 for TI Calculators

Ranman informed me, in the comments for the previous news posting, that the Ultima 5 for TI Calculators project is progressing along quite nicely — at present, it is now 89% complete.

In all my years of schooling — even in engineering — I never had need for the big graphing calculators, but I believe my brother has one, and I’ll be sure to hook him up with this port of the classic game when it is finally done (which, from the sound of it, won’t be too much longer in coming)!

Ultima IX: Redemption

Corv, the leader of the Redemption project, brings news of another new team member: Kultan, who has joined the team as a writer. His responsibilities, evidently, will be dialogue for the denizens of Minoc and Paws.

His first developer diary can be viewed here.

Pentagram

I should have noticed this last time, but didn’t: the downloadable binaries for Pentagram were updated on July 12th (for the binary) and August 12th (for the binary). While I can’t remember if I grabbed the new Mac binary back before I left for England, I know for sure that I haven’t yet updated the Windows binary since I returned home.

So do be sure to grab the latest versions of this project from its entry here at Aiera.

Black Gate Keyring

Marzo has released a new version of his keyring mod for Ultima 7. It can be downloaded through the project entry here at Aiera.

Serpent Isle Fixes

Marzo has also released a new version of his fixes for Serpent Isle. It can be downloaded through the project entry here at Aiera.

Lost Sosaria

I’ve resumed development on Lost Sosaria after my month-length hiatus and vacation. Things are proceeding apace, but there’s not much news of that at the project site at present.

But I am always looking for volunteers for the project — it’s a pretty big task to be facing alone.

Yeah, I’d imagine a project of that kind of scale would be. What’re you after, exactly, in terms of help?
