Looking for Dungeon Siege updates

Just got this via email:

Went to Microsoft web site and got to the down load area. they have several downloads. I can download everything except the one for 1.0 to 1.1 dungeon seige. For some reason it will not work. I know this is going to be probably useless to ask but has anybody know any other location you can down load it from there may be more people who would look at what you have done but cant get the 1.0 to 1.1 download.

Any help in solving this gentleman’s problem would be appreciated. I was able to find a few download locations for what was ostensibly the Dungeon Siege v1.0 to v1.11.blahblahblah updater, but they all seemed to require registration (e.g. FilePlanet), and I didn’t have time to waste on going through that process.

Drop ‘em in the comments if you have suggestions.

Well. I’m gonna guess he needs the english patch (I got both spanish and english ones), I’ll search for it a bit on the net and if I have no luck I will upload it somewhere

Fileshack has an option to download files without login in, it has good speed too (I have just downloaded it).

I’m wondering if it might not be worth it to have the Dungeon Siege patches available at Aiera considering there are two big Ultima games with it and we never know what might happen to official sources.

The Patches Scrolls (http://www.patches-scrolls.de/) can fullfil most of your game patch needs. It also hosts most other language versions as well.

I also need this file. but neither of those links are working properly. I need a DIRECT link to this file.
One of the links http://www.fileshack.com/file.x/765/Dungeon+Siege+v1.0+to+v1.1.1462+Patch Leads me to Fileshack yes, BUT it saves the file as a document, NOT the EXE it claims on the website.
And then (http://www.patches-scrolls.de/) Does not hav the file on the website at all!!!
Now what?
